The "Someone Just For Me"In this city...there are no people.
The lights are on in all the houses. But there's nobody on the streets.
Are there people inside? I peek in a window to find out.
There are people. But they are with them.
I look in other houses. These people are with them, too.
This city is just like all the rest.
Being with them is fun. More fun than being with people.
Nobody comes outside anymore. There are no people in this city.
I will leave this city and go to another one.
I hope that I will meet someone. Someone just for me.
But if that special someone falls in love with me...
I will have to leave that someone.
Even so, I want to meet that special someone.
This is what I think as I leave the city with no people.
Just as I feared...there's no one here either.
Everyone is inside with them.
Being with them is like living a beautiful dream.
A beautiful dream that no one wants to wake up from.
They will grant your deepest wishes.
They will do whatever you ask. They will be whatever you want.
Zephyr Ch 20their world was as though a book only but a chapter behind the humans. rudimentary villages scattered the land and everywhere he looked, there were dragons. they filled the sky, as if leaves blown by the wind. rick had wished now, more than ever, to have wings and fly. his friends were truly blessed, or so he thought. in truth, they were klutzy and they had but only remedial education. those whom were from the human world seemed geniouses against the masses. off in the distance there was a skyscraper, tall as the great forests that covered most the land. rick could see words brandished on it's side, but couldn't make out what they said.
he had wanted to go there, but spoke none of it. the task at hand was more important than sightseeing. Zenith spoke, "hey, seto, don't you have a house around here somewhere? we shall need lodgings for the night..." seto lo
Zephyr Ch 19when he opened his eyes, something was wrong. he was alone in a room. judging
from how it looked, this was a cell, but there were no doors, windows or bars. it was just a perfect cube painted white on the inside. he sat down and thought. how was he getting air? where was he, and where are the others? did something go wrong? he put a hand to the floor. it wasn't cold, rather, smooth and warm. it was then that he realized he had no pants.
"this is surreal... like a bad dream. but worse..." he tapped each of the four walls and the floor. the third wall had a higher-pitched tone, meaning it was hollow. he stared at it for awhile, then sat back down. he slowly drifted off as there was nothing else to do. he dreamt of cereal. weird...
his stomach grumbled as he was poked to consciousness.
